Middle School Graduation Requirements
Promotion to the next grade requires passing year-end comprehensive exams in all core subjects (math, science, social science, and English). For a complete listing of promotion requirements for 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades, click on 5 - 8 Curriculum.
High School Graduation Options
Ninth through 12th Grade students are grouped according to expected year of graduation and course selections. BASIS TUCSON offers four graduation options to upper school students:
#1: Early Graduation: 21 credits and three years (9 Trimesters) of high school attendance
#2: Graduation: 21 credits required and 3+ years of high school attendance
#3: Graduation with Honors: 23 +2/3 credits, three years, and 2 Trimesters of high school attendance (11 Trimesters total)
#4: Graduation with High Honors: 27 +1/3 credits and four years of high school attendance (12 Trimesters total)
