Robert Compton, executive producer of Two Million Minutes joined us for a screening of his commanding documentary. In addition to the screening, Mr. Compton also engaged in an interview hosted by Ron Marx, Dean of the college of education at the University of Arizona, and a Question and Answer session with the audience.

Two million minutes is roughly the amount of time a student spends in high school. The documentary contrasts the hard charging attitudes toward high school in India and China and the laid back attitude in the US. Compton, a successful entrepreneur, is convinced this difference in our educational systems portends future economic difficulty for the US. According to Compton, “The Battle for America’s Economic Future isn’t being fought by our government, it’s being fought by our kids.”
