Frequently Asked Questions about Registration

When should I contact the school regarding registration for 5th Grade? Parents/Guardians should contact the school before their students fourth grade year and fill out a Prospective Student Form. These forms are available in the Middle School office. Parents may also request a form to be emailed to them by contacting registration@basistucson.org

Do students need to test into the school? No, students will not take an entrance exam. However, students will be asked to take a placement test which will ensure that your child will be placed in the correct grade and group.

How do I schedule a tour of BASIS Tucson? Tours will begin after the first of the year for parents of students entering 5th grade the following school year. For all other grades, please e-mail registration@basistucson.org or call the office to schedule a tour with the Middle School or Upper School Director.

Is there tuition for BASIS Tucson School? BASIS Tucson is a charter school and does not charge tuition. When Parents/Guardians register they will be required to pay a security deposit of $150.00 for Middle School and $300.00 for Upper School.
